Carmina Campus Africa Project
Carmina Campus presents at 10 Corso Como a collection of bags
made in Africa using recycled local materials:
pieces of safari or first aid tents
or fragments of traditional African fabrics.
It is a collaboration between Carmina Campus
and ITC (International Trade Centre),
a United Nations and World Trade Organization agency
whose aim is in giving professional training
and job opportunities in developing countries.

The legendary photographer Peter Lindbergh
has collaborated with IWC Schaffausen,
Swiss watchmaker founded over 140 years ago,
to capture the spirit of “La Dolce Vita” and
the true elegance of Portofino in the 1960′s.
The result is a series of impressive black-and-white photographs
collected in a travelling exhibition.

Since 1955 the World Press Photo Contest
awards some of the most important prizes for photojournalism.
An unique occasion to discover the most beautiful and significant images
that have illustrated facts and events on the covers of international magazines and newspapers.
The international jury of World Press Photo has selected a picture
by Jodi Bieber from South Africa as the World Press Photo of the Year 2010.
The portrait of Bibi Aisha was also awarded First prize
in the category of Portraits Singles.
